The Swim & Gym Program is one of SWT Recreation's longest running programs. We partner with the Parkland School District to give residents access to the Hight School Pool and Gymnasiums over the winter. This program typically runs from mid-January through March, on Sundays from 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Specific dates are dependent on the High School event schedule, and are announced once we receive them. WE ARE HIRING LIFEGUARDS! Please see details below.

Guidelines & Important Information:

• 2026 Dates TBD (dependent on PASD facility availability)
• Participants MUST reside in the Parkland Area School District. 
• There is NO Registration and NO Fee for this program.
• Attendees MUST have an Account in our Online Recreation Portal to verify residency.

• Sundays from 1:00- 5:00pm, January- March depending on Facility Availability
• Pool Use- Participants MUST shower prior to entering the pool per the Parkland Area School District.
• NOTE: This program is for recreational family or individual swimming and recreational pick-up basketball or volleyball. Organized group activities are NOT permitted during this time and will be denied access to the pool and gym areas. 

Lifeguards Needed!

• We typically hire 4-5 Certified Lifeguards to run our Swim & Gym Program.
• Applicants MUST be at least 16 years old, and MUST have their First Aid, CPR/AED, and Water Rescue Certifications.
