NEW for 2026: Bus Trip!
SWT Recreation partners with the Parkland Area School District and St. Luke's Fitness Center to bring a variety of quality programs to our Seniors!
Important Registration Information from Parkland Area School District:
- The below Senior Classes are offered to Seniors ages 55 and older, who reside in the Parkland School District, and are FREE of charge!

- If you know someone interested who does not have internet access, please have them call 610-351-5578 and the School District will assist them with registration.
- Please refrain from registering if you cannot make a majority of the classes. All classes will be reserved via a lottery system. Parkland School District will send out course notifications starting on September 30th.
Winter Senior Bridge Class: Partnership with Parkland Area School District
These lessons are based on the ACBL Intro to Bridge course and will lay the foundation for you to play bridge with friends, groups, and at beginner bridge clubs. You will be given the Series 1 student manual free of charge covering lessons 1-10 (Series 2 will incur a $13 charge for the book). Betsy Cutler and Mike Kohler will be instructing the classes and are ACBL certified teachers. Betsy is a gold Life master and Mike is a ruby life master, both are past presidents of the Lehigh Valley Bridge Association, and Betsy is the past president of the ACBL District 4.
- Jan 29- June 25, totals 20 classes (no class April 2)

ST. LUKE’S CHAIR & STRENGTH CLASS: Partnership with Parkland Area School District and St. Luke's Fitness Center
For Seniors ages 55 & older who reside in the Parkland School District. The chair strength and mobility class is a low-impact program designed to improve strength and mobility for adults of all activity levels. It is movement-based training to help with balance, coordination, agility and functional strength. This class is led by a St. Luke’s Instructor.
- Winter Session TBD: typically Wednesdays, from 9:00am- 9:45am
- Held held at the St. Luke’s Fitness & Sports Performance Center-West End
