South Whitehall Township, PA
Home MenuEarth Day
The first Earth Day celebration was held on April 22, 1970, 54 years ago! The idea was to raise awareness about our role in protecting our natural world. Each year, we celebrate the anniversary of Earth Day by choosing a park project we feel will benefit and beautify the Township, and adhere to the mission of Earth Day. We then invite SWT residents, community members, groups, businesses, and organizations to volunteer to help us achieve our project goals!
If you have a suggestion for an Earth Day Project, or have questions about your how to get involved, please email Matulal@southwhitehall.com.
