Similar to an Egg Hunt, SWT Recreation and the SWT Fire Companies put out hundreds of candy canes for kids to "hunt" for in several SWT Parks! Each location will have LOTS of candy canes to find, and each location will be taking donations for Parkland Cares Food Pantry!

2026 Candy Cane Hunts & Food Drive:

• The Candy Cane Hunt is moving back to the Tree & Bridge Lighting Event again! 
  • The Candy Cane Hunt will take place during the Tree & Bridge Lighting event on Friday, December 5th, from 5:30pm- 7:30pm, at Covered Bridge Park.
    • (2465 Wehr Mill Road, Allentown, PA 18104)
  • The exact time of the Candy Cane Hunt will be announced closer to the event.
  • SWT Recreation, Public Works, and Fire Companies will spread candy canes out for attendees to "Hunt" and grab as many as they can! 

• Cans of Soup, Cans of Tuna & Chicken
• Granola Bars, regular jars of Peanut Butter
• Monetary Donations
