  • Starting Salary (2025): $72,543.78

  • Salary after Five Years (2026): $99,626.31

  • Prior full-time law enforcement experience may qualify you for a higher starting salary

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for employment, candidates must:

  • Be 21 years of age by the application deadline

  • Be a U.S. citizen

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED

  • Hold a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license by the time of appointment

  • Be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer

  • Reside within 25 miles of the Township within six months of completing probation and maintain that residency
