Community Relations Banner

The Community Relations Division of the South Whitehall Township Police Department is made up of dedicated officers who serve as liaisons between the department and the community. This division includes Community Relations officers, certified D.A.R.E. instructors, and our three full-time School Resource Officers (SROs).

Our SROs are assigned to Parkland High School and the two middle schools, where they play a vital role in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment. In addition to ensuring school safety, they serve as trusted mentors and positive role models for students and staff.

Beyond their work in the schools, Community Relations officers coordinate a variety of services and programs available to South Whitehall Township residents, including:
